Get Access to UPS Shipping API with OAuth 2.0
💡 UPS has implemented an OAuth 2.0 security model. This requires you to use OAuth to authorize AfterShip Shipping for actions like accessing UPS rates or printing UPS labels. ⚠️ All UPS customers must re-authorize their accounts by July 31, 2024.
If you don't already have one, create a new UPS profile using this link.
After creating the account and signing in, select Accounts and Payment.
From the Add a Payment Method dropdown, select Add Existing Account. You'll be asked to add your UPS Account Number, a nickname, and postal code.
You'll need either Invoice Data or a PIN to verify your account. These should have been sent to the original email address used when creating the account.
Once UPS successfully validates your Invoice Data or PIN, the registration process on UPS.com is complete.
If you already have an existing UPS.com profile, ensure you have the account's username and password, and make sure your UPS account number is registered to the UPS.com profile.
Log in to AfterShip Shipping and navigate to Carriers.
Click Add carrier and search UPS.
Click the logo of UPS, and click Login with UPS.
Follow the prompts on the UPS authorization page. Check Agreement, input with your username and password.
Redirect back to AfterShip Shipping and input your UPS account number and address information accordingly.
Please login UPS portal and find Addresses as below.
UPS account number and address doesn’t support to update after creation. It’s because of when setup the account, UPS must verify the account details including account number, address, phone, email should match the info in UPS system. If you have updated account info in UPS, please re-connect your UPS account with us.
